C4R-FEST is the Chris Evans’ event that brings together cars, music, food and family fun in order to raise money for Children in Need.  Each year Cheshire Scouts have had a presence at the event, with volunteers being a part of the huge team of staff that ensure the visiting public have an enjoyable festival experience.

The next event is being held on Friday 27th July to Sunday 29th July 2018, at Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire.

We have a limited number of spaces still available for anyone wanting to enjoy the festival atmosphere this summer (the tickets sold out months ago) – as a member of the Scout volunteer team you can enjoy free camping and entry for this 3-day event.  You can get to see the many different cars and vehicles on and off the track, taste some food from top celebrity chefs such as Tom Kerridge, see some of the Strictly Come Dancing stars in a ballroom masterclass, or party the night away with acts such as the Proclaimers, Status Quo, Texas, Madness, Bananarama and a DJ set from Peter Kay.  You might event get to bump into Pudsey…

All you have to do is commit to supporting the team of Scout volunteers over the weekend, “working” a couple of specified shifts, giving you plenty of free time to enjoy the family friendly festival and all its day- and night-time attractions.  Duties include stewarding, ticket exchange, campsite and arena patrols, track marshalling, and manning the Scout publicity stand in the event.

This opportunity is open to adult volunteers within Scouting (Network, Leaders, Helpers, Exec members etc.) as well as Explorers aged 16+.
