Plymouth District Scout Network is back!

Plymouth Network is taking part in Plymouth District's St Georges' Day celebration on 23rd April at Home Park. We have been asked by the organising team to help with providing the security at the event. This will involve monitoring the gates, keeping the event secure, walking around the event ensuring that everybody is having fun and is safe, taking part in the ceremony with the renewal of promises and also being a friendly face and point of contact for those taking part.

We will meet in the car park behind the Grandstand at 12:00. You will need to bring full uniform with you for the renewal of promises ceremony.

If you have other responsibilities at this event, such as being a section leader, you will be expected to perform the duties of your primary role.

This is also a linking event and we will be taking part with some Explorers. You will not need a DBS as during 'joint events, both Explorer Scouts and Scout Network Members are attending as youth members i.e. as peers, and there is no requirement for Scout Network Members to undertake a DBS check'.
