Outing buddy - A Million Hands+

Support disabled people to socialise and have fun.

Do you like to get and about in the evening and weekends?  So do lots of residents at Leonard Cheshire Disability services, but many of them need a bit of support to go out and once they are at a venue.

You can help to increase the social inclusion and independence of disabled people by becoming an outing buddy to accompany a resident to a venue or event that they enjoy.  This could be going out to the pub or a film, music events, clubbing, eating out, outdoor pursuits, sports, anything really.

Email to tell us what you would like to do and your postcode so we can link you with a local Leonard Cheshire Disability service.
