Walk the Walk Event Challenge, A Million Hands +
Have fun and raise awareness about the issues that people who are blind or partially sighted face each and every day, through asking your friends, family and wider community to join you 'walk the walk' whilst wearing a blindfold.
Network members are challenged to organise 100 co-ordinated events across the UK during October, as part of national Guide Dogs Week. You will then be able to share your knowledge around sight loss and offer sighted guiding training to your local community.
Your event will engage the general public and local decision makers, whom you should influence to improve the accessibility of their local area. You will be provided with support and toolkits including press release templates to make your event a success.
