Come to Bestival 2017 with WaterAid!
Last chance to come to Bestival with WaterAid!
Fancy going to Bestival with WaterAid? You can! We have been offered a few last minute places!
Wateraid will be taking along 50 volunteers to manage some of the recycling at the festival this year.
When & where is it? Bestival will be held at Lulworth Castle in Dorset from Thursday 7 – Sunday 10 September.
What would I be doing? The role is part of the festival's recycling team – it's run by the same company that we work with at Glastonbury. The main tasks are litter picking around the bars and sorting recyclable waste. You would be required to arrive onsite any time from midday on Thursday and would work three 6 hour shifts, one on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. In exchange for volunteering, the festival's waste management company Critical Waste will be providing us with a donation.
What's provided? You will be provided with WaterAid clothing to wear and all of the equipment you need. You will get one meal voucher per shift you work, which can be redeemed at trader stalls around the festival. You can claim up to £20 towards your travel. You will be camping in a crew camping area which has hot showers and composting toilets. You will need to bring your own camping equipment.
What do I need to do to sign up? Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by THIS FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER and you’ll be sent a short form to complete and further information.
