Youth in Adventure Fund
If you are interested in leading adventurous activities in Scouting and looking to attend training to help you with a future permit assessment or needing to buy equipment to help you attend a course or assessment the Youth in Adventure Fund can help. It will:
Support individual young people (18-25) to undertake activity training courses. These courses should be helping you gain experience in order to gain an adventurous activity permit authorising you to lead activities for members of Scouting or to train others to do so.
Support individual young people (18-25) to purchase equipment enabling you to undertake such activity training courses.
Grants are usually £150 per person; one application can be made by each individual per year, and grants are paid directly to individuals. Applications are not subject to the Scout Grants Committee’s reserves policy.
